CHAPTER 2
Two fishing rods in Ohno’s hands, Nino didn’t need to be told what was in Ohno’s head at the moment. And the idea never amused Nino at all.
“Nino, let’s-“
“One step closer to me, Ohno-san and I will chopped down those fishing rod of yours and you’ll regret the day you’ve met me,”
Ohno’s movement on halt. It took him a moment of silent, frowning as he tried to process
Nino’s words but after a while, he laughed.
“It always makes my heart beats fast whenever I saw you mad, Kazu. You look so damn cute!” Ohno said.
“And you looked like an idiot with those fishing rods in your hand, having the thought that I’m going to go fishing with you. In your dream, Ohno!” Nino rolled his eyes, playing with the game in his phone, cursing when the warning sound beep indicating the low battery.
“This is all your fault!” Nino said, murderously glared at Ohno who was still looking at him innocently.
“it’s better that way. As long as you have those technologies with you, we won’t have enough quality time to be spend even though there is only the two of us here,” Ohno replied.
Nino gritted his teeths.
“In case that you’ve forgot Ohno-san, we’ve broke up. And I never know the reason why to it. And for your information too, I’ve been speculating that maybe because we’ve been spending a lot of our time together that you might have been bored to spend them anymore with me that you finally decided that,”
“That’s not the right answer, Kazu,” Ohno replied almost instantly, biting his lips when he finished his line.
“ok, so tell me the reason why we’ve broke up?”
“We never broke up,”
Nino’s mouth hanged opened. It was yesterday when Ohno said they did, and today he denied it? What is the game the man was playing with?
“I’m hungry, Kazu,” Ohno suddenly broke the tense, changing the topic that Nino can’t help snorting. “I’ve brought pasta and all the necessary seasonings,”
Nino made a face. He definitely knew where this would lead him too.
“I’ll go fishing and will come back with something, so while waiting, will you cook something for us?”
Ohno didn’t let him to protest or agree. He just left, humming a song happily, leaving Nino alone in the small cave, cursing at his fate for knowing Ohno Satoshi in his life.

Ohno came back two hours later with a bucket of fishes along with a proud grin formed on his lips.
“Did you cook the pasta?” Ohno asked after a while of observing that Nino responded with a mocking chuckled.
“Did you see any?” Nino asked him back, ignoring the dissatisfaction snort from Ohno.
“I thought I’ve asked you nicely?” Nino scoffed to this question.
“Let me get this straight to you, Ohno Satoshi,” Nino stood from his place, walked approaching the man, stopping only a few steps from Ohno. “You brought me here without my permission. I spend most of my time wondering how to kill my time while you having your best time somewhere in this deserted island. I never want to be here so what make you think that I would like to do something like cooking for you? After all the force you’d done to bring me here?” Nino rant out, punching the man hard on his arms. Ohno didn’t backed out though, instead, he laughed hard.
“And what make you think that all the force will stop there?”
“Huh?”
“I want you to cook something. Anything. But you don’t. and from the way you reacted, I can say that maybe you won’t. Do you think that I will let that one be as it is?”
“you-“ and his words stopped by a pair of lips crushed on his.
It took him a moment of struggle to break free from Ohno’s kiss before he actually enjoyed the kiss. It wasn’t that hot, the kiss was sloppy and rushes and Nino knew so well Ohno could do so much better. His hand almost reached Ohno’s nape when the man finally let him go, his hand still holding Nino’s face just to make sure they keep facing each other.
Watching how red Nino’s face was at the moment; though he wasn’t sure because the man was breathless or hot by the kiss, Ohno’s chuckled.
“Cook something, Kazunari,” Ohno said, his lips brushing against Nino as he spoke. “Or I will do something if you don’t,” Ohno threatened.
Trying to hide his embarrassment, Nino replied, trying to sound unaffected. “What would you do?”
“In a matter of sense, Kazunari-“ Ohno smirked in between his works. “-if we didn’t have any food to eat, then someone can be the food, isn’t it?”
Before Ohno could lean in, Nino pushed him away, grabbed the needed ingredient, before he walked away, his face even redder.
Hearing Ohno humming a familiar song, Nino cursed.
“Damn that tease!”

No. it didn’t went that well. Especially in the middle of the preparation and Nino accidentally cut his finger that Ohno had to bow his head damn low for forcing the man to cook.
Nino was being stubborn at first but obviously he couldn’t go against a stubborn Ohno as well. Ohno took his hand, started to tend the wound carefully before all the whines, struggles stopped with Nino letting him do whatever he wanted.
And there he admitted it, even though his thoughts were all left inside his head.
He missed it. The closeness they have at the moment that had been missing for months. For months Nino thought it was over between them. Most of the time he tried to ignore but only god knows how many times he had been thinking about how things had ended between them unannounced.
It was his limit.
“Why did you break up with me, Ohno-san?” Nino asked Ohno who was carefully wrapped the wound with the plaster. “We were so in love with each other until you told me that we need some space,”
“We never broke up Nino,” Ohno said, refused to meet his eyes. “We simply put some space between us,”
“Why?” Nino forced another question to him.
Nino watched how Ohno was trying to ignore his question. The man put everything inside the first aid bags, trying to move away until Nino yanked him back to face him.
“You make me wondering, Ohno-san. And you know me well how I will kept pestering you until I get my answer. Stop making it hard for you,” Nino pushed the man for an answer.
Something is off. The way Ohno was reacting was. He was biting his lips, playing with his shirts as if he was hiding something that Nino hated most.
And when the man opened his mouth, Nino hated himself for asking.
“I’m sorry, Kazu. But everything happened too fast for me to think of anything better for us,”
Ohno paused. Taking one deep breath, he continued.
“Actually…”

Sorry that this one seems rushing. And sorry for breaking the promise to update this on Tuesday. I’m not feeling well and everything got delayed.
