Notes: there are 2 ending for this fic. you may choose 1 for the ending. pardon me for some mistakes and emotionless story. i have trouble with this lately.

Aiba Masaki is a photographer. Sakurai Sho is a successful idol

Their first meeting was something not to brag about. In another words, it’s worst. Sakurai, who has this rules of no photos allowed, mistakenly thought that Aiba took his picture, resulting the broken camera that the man usually use for his works.

It was settled in the Jimusho, where the memory card was taken out for proving, and it proves that Aiba’s right, and Sho was out of words to say anything. Hurt by Sho previous words about he making fortune by selling Sho picture and not even a word of apologies, Aiba left the Jimusho enraged.

It was never been explain, on how the two of them become friends. Maybe by Sho felt guilt enough that he decided to bought a new camera, replacing the broken one for Aiba. At first, Aiba didn’t accept it. “let by gone be gone” he said. But Sho insisted for him to have it. In the end, Aiba takes it.

It was also never been explained when their relation make a step further. Maybe at least for Aiba. When one drunk night, they end up together in Aiba’s house. At first Aiba thought it’s a mistake. But when it didn’t stop there, it gives him a lot of hopes. It happened again and again after that.

Aiba didn’t know when he started to fall for the man. Each day, he keeps thinking about Sho. But he never missed him. Because every night, the man will come to his house and sex is the first thing Sho thinks as he entered the house.

Sho never thinks the same way as Aiba. While the relation that Aiba hope is all about love, Sho just think Aiba as his sex buddies. No love. Not at all. But Aiba never realized this. Not until one day.

“Congratulation, Aiba-san. You’ve been promoted,”

Aiba couldn’t help smiling. But the smile formed on his lips faded after hearing the next words.

“you’ll be leaving Tokyo in a month. We have a new company in US, there’s an opening there,” and Aiba never really heard the next words from the man in front of him.

He was walking home when he received a call from Sho, asking him to head to his house instead. “there is something I want to tell,” and Aiba just agree with it.

He knew, once he enter the house, Sho will shower him with a lot of kiss, pinned him against the wall and kiss him again until both of them run out of breathe. Sho will lead him, carried him halfway to the bedroom before put him on the bed. Their make love session will be hot as ever and it will help him to stop worrying about his transfer. He expected all those, and it is granted.

But there is one thing that he never expected will be.

“I have something to tell you,” both of them talk in unison once they manage to take a breath. Manage to let out a soft chuckles, Aiba ask Sho to go first.

“I’m getting married. In two months,” and Aiba just pretend to shed a tear of happiness.

He feels cheated. He feels cheap. How can he be so stupid to give away something precious to him for someone who never loves him? he always thought Sho loves him, but his thought was wrong. Sho never has the same feeling as him. it’s all lust.

He leaves early in the morning, not even take a last look at the man who was sleeping next to him last night. he decided. It’s time for all of this to end

He hands the acceptance letter to his leader that morning. No hesitate. It’s hurt, but it’s the only way. he needs to forget. And then he said.

“If it is possible, can I leave earlier than the schedule?”

There’s thousand of curse Sho has said. Aiba never pick up his call, never reply to any of his message. It drives him mad.

Deep inside his heart, he feels guilty for using Aiba for whatever purpose he did. But Aiba have the same idea as his isn’t it? about this relation. They are friends for benefit. There’s nothing more.

“what if he loves you?” Jun sudden question startled him this morning.

“it couldn’t be…. We’re just…”

“a f***ing buddies? Say Sho-chan, do you really think of him that way? just a friend?”

He keeps questioning himself the same question while he’s making his way to Aiba’s office. Is it really he only thinks Aiba that very same way he always think of him? why is it all of sudden, when Aiba starts to distancing from him, his heart feels so empty

But, that is not the main point now. He needs an explaination. Why is it Aiba start to distancing himself away? But Sho never realized, his own question is selfish enough to break the man’s heart

“I need to see you,” he said, standing behind the man who’s pretending editing the picture he tooks. It brings a lot of attention to the people around them, but sho care less. He needs to see Aiba and that’s what he’s doing.

“You see me now. Now could you please leave? There’s thousand of cameraman who might make fortune by seeing you here now,” he’s change. Cold enough.

“why are you distancing yourself from me, Aiba-chan? What have I’ve done,” he knows he might know the answer, but he refuse to believe it.

“I’m busy right now. Could you please leave?”

“I won’t leave until you tell me what is wrong with you!”

A lot of eyes are now looking at the pair, hearing Sho’s yell just now. Aiba sighs. Not wanting to cause a chaos, he drags the older man to the rooftop, the place that only the two of them might have a safe conversation.

But Aiba didn’t say anything. Instead, he light up his cigarette.

“how’s your wedding planning?” he ask just to break the silence even though deep inside his heart in breaking.

“good… I guess,” Sho pauses once before continue. “Say Aiba-chan, what if…”

“if you’re going to ask me about your wedding theme, what you should wear or whatever related to your wedding, you’ve got the wrong person,”

Sho’s eyes widen. Aiba never acted this way before. He takes a deep breath before saying his next words.

“I miss you,” to his surprise, he saw Aiba smirks.

“really? do you really miss me or you miss my ass?”

“what’s wrong with you, Aiba-chan? I thought we are friend?”

“yeah! A f**k buddies of yours!”

There is an awkward silent, before the photographer breaks into a small sob, confusing the idol.

“why can’t you see it, Sho-kun? I love you! I fucking love you! not as friend, I want more than that! but you treat me like a trash. You fuck me and then you tell me you’re marrying other person? What the hell was that? And you dare to ask me what is wrong with me?”

“you… love me?”

“what do you think I am? Prostitute? I won’t give my body to someone who I didn’t love! I let you do all those things because I love you! why can’t you see it?”

Sho doesn’t reply. He has no words. even when the man lean in to kiss him on his lips, he just stay there, stiff, leading to another misunderstanding to the man.

“yappari. You never have heart on me,” He takes one deep breath before continuing with his words. “congratulation on your wedding, Sho-chan. I’m sorry that I can’t attend it,” with that he left.

People always said that he is too slow when it comes to love. Maybe that’s the reason why he never went to explain to Aiba, to tell how sorry he is for being so slow to realize he does has the same feeling as the photographer.

It takes him a second to realized how empty it was seeing Aiba leaves him that day. He loves that man

He is now standing in front of the man’s house, hesitate on his next action he should do. In the end, he presses the door bell, waiting for the man to answer.

But the one who open the door is not Aiba. It’s someone who he didn’t know.

“Who are you?” Sho asks, not thinking twice.

“I’m Ninomiya kazunari. May I help you?”

“I’m looking for Aiba Masaki,” Sho answers, heart beating so fast, sensing something wrong there.

“ah, I’m sorry. But he leaves for US last night,”

“what, but… he didn’t tell me anything about it. he can’t be leaving right?” Sho cries, causing Nino to  smirks.

“are you.. Sakurai-san?”

There is a long pause before Sho nods, answering the question.

“there’s something that he left for you. could you please wait for a moment?” Nino didn’t wait for Sho to answer. Instead he goes to the room, come back with something that Sho recognize well.

The camera. The one that Sho gives to him as a replace to the one that he broke it last time. Nino hand the camera to him. there’s a note with it. slowly, he opens the folded paper, reads what was written inside.

“Maybe we never have a destiny to be with each other. I’m sorry about last time. as for now, please forget me,

-aiba”

“it’s his choice Sakurai-san. He won’t return. It’s the last things he wants from you. you can’t give him the love that he wants, so please do this one favor. Leave him be,”

Sho never realized when Nino has shut the door. He press the on button at the camera, before start to look for all the pictures that Aiba has takes before. He stops at one of the picture, a picture of him and Aiba

Before he could realized it, there’s a tear falls on the screen of the camera. Here he knows, he just lost something precious in his life

By the time Aiba opens the door, sho notice how empty the house is. There are a lot of seal boxes on the floor, no decoration at all when he first enters the house.

Aiba looks shock seeing the idol in front of him, never expecting the man to arrive at this hour. By the time he should leave for airport.

“Aiba-chan. Are you.. heading somewhere?” aiba nods.

“Company transferring me to US. There’s an opening there, so..” Sho didn’t let him to finish his words when he wraps his arms around the man.

“no, please tell me you’re not leaving… please.. I love you,”

“you’re getting married Sho-chan. How are you expecting me to live my life watching the one I love in someone else arms?”

“I’ve cancelled everything. Please Masaki. Marrying her means I’m cheating myself. I don’t love her. I never love her. All of this time I never sure about us, making me so confuse. Maybe that’s the reason why I make those decisions. I beg you.. please, don’t leave,”

Sho tightens his hugs when there is no reply from the man. It stays the same way, until Aiba decides to breaks the hug.

“I need to go. This is my dream, Sho-chan,” Sho couldn’t take another look at the man infront of him. he try to wipe away the tears he had, but a hand stop him, taking his face to face him directly.

“but I will return,” he continues, wiping away the tears on the man’s cheek. “during that time, will you wait for me?”

It takes him a minute for Sho to reply Aiba’s words by a simple nod. A smile forms on the man lips before Aiba leans in, gives him one last kiss before he depart

There sure another kiss once he comes back.

I like the plot xD
Though I'm always seeking for happy ending when it comes to sakuraiba, in this case I think I prefer the first ending, coz who knows may be we can have a sequel LOL

lol.. sequel? my artistic value has been decreasing nowadays.. i'm lack of ideas.. lol...

i can't say if there is any sequel from this, or won't be.. ideas comes sometimes at the moment i never expected.. let's see if i have any in the future ne..
