Note: based on a true story, happens to my friend few years ago. I alter some part of the story.

It’s driving him mad. Why shouldn’t he? Counting up, it is 7th times that he calls the younger man. Not even one was picked up.
He tries to calm himself down. But he can’t. Why didn’t Nino answer his call? Did he did something wrong, causing Nino to sulk and start to behave this way? So far that he could remember, he had make up with that brat. ohno couldn’t think anything more.
Maybe, he’s busy, he tries to convince himself. But, to Ohno’s knowledge, both of them have an empty schedule today. They both applied for it together last time. it was approved and Nino promise to spend his time together. Maybe even went to fishing, despite the seasickness that the latter might have once they do so.
Just why can’t he pick up the phone? Just once, just pick up the phone Nino. I want to hear your voice, he says to himself again and again.
He decided to stop dialing. I’ll call back after 15 minutes, he decided. But it’s not even 5 minutes when he back again dialing the younger one number.
Nino never behaves this way before. Even if he’s sulking, he won’t do this. Maybe he ignore the first and the second call. But he’ll sure picked up on the third, with the whining, sulking tone, saying that how worst he was but he still loves him. Nino always did that.
But this time, it’s not. And Ohno has a very bad feeling about it.
He grabs his phone once again, dialing a number. Not Nino, but Aiba.
A few ringing tone, he almost yells when Aiba finally pick up the phone.
“Ah, leader. How are you doing?”
“fine as always,” though there’s something very suspicious in the question Aiba had ask (why would he ask if I’m fine), he decides to goes straight to the point. “Ne, Aiba-chan. do you know where is Nino? He hasn’t picked up my call. Not even once,”
There’s a long silent at the end of the line. Ohno waits, Aiba finally says something when he is about to asks again.
“Oh-chan, gomenne. I can’t…” and the call end, maybe accidently or purposely, ohno didn’t know.

“Doshio, Sho-chan?” Aiba worried voice can be heard at the end of the line. Both Sho and Jun shrug, unable to come with a solution.
It takes sometimes before Sho comes out with a suggestion.
“let’s go to his house,” none of them disagree.
20 minutes later, 3 of the Arashi member are standing in front of Ohno Satoshi and Ninomiya Kazunari shared apartment.

Unable to get an answer from Aiba, Ohno gives up. Looking at his watch, it’s almost lunch time. Maybe that brat is on his way to this house. maybe he left his phone unpurposely. Too many possibilities and Ohno can’t choose any.
“let’s cook hamburger again. But, we eat that too much lately.” He talks to himself, chuckles. “It’s ok. I’ll cook both cha-han and hamburger,”
He just finishes arranging the food he cooks on the table when he heard the doorbell ringing. Rushing to the door in hope to see his lover there, his hope was down when he saw his three bandmates standing there with worried on their face.
“ah, Aiba-chan, Sho-kun, Jun-kun. what makes you here? Aiba-chan you drop off our conversation just now. What happened?” he ask, restlessly.
“sore wa…” aiba didn’t finish up his words when Ohno starts again.
“Nino can be so determined isn’t he? I wonder what kind of surprise he will gives this time. Yabai. How can I forget. It’s our anniversary together. That’s the reason why we asks for an off day together last time. geez. How come he’s not here yet,?
For a moment, none of the three makes a moves. Not even speaks a word. The three of them keeps on watching how passionate Ohno is in preparing the lunch for Nino. None of them dare to make a move on how to begin explaining to Ohno.
“t’s lucky that I cook a lot. You guys are going to join us celebrating right? I can’t be more than gratefull having you guys as friend for supporting us this way,”
This time, Aiba couldn’t hold it any longer. He’s been holding himself so much from burst out crying since just now, but this time he can’t.
“Aiba-chan? what’s wrong?”
Aiba didn’t gives any answer. Instead he storms out the house, unable to say anything.
He really didn’t realize it, Sho thought by himself. glancing to Jun, both of them nodded to each other before slowly reaching the older man.
“What’s wrong guys? What’s happening? Why is Aiba-chan crying? Why are you guys acting weird?” Ohno asks, finally realizing something is wrong.
“Riida-“ jun begins, but stop unable to continue. God. He needs to stay calms.
“Satoshi-kun, you need to calm down,” Sho finally says something. Deep inside his heart, he curse himself for facing this kind of situation. He didn’t know how should he face this, not with Ohno acting this way.
“what’s wrong? Why are you guy- are you hiding something from me?” Ohno asks, this time curious and panic could be hear in his voice. “is it about Nino?”
“Satoshi-kun, please calm down-“
“No! where’s Nino? What’s wrong with him? answer me? someone please. Why hasn’t he picked up my call? What’s happening?”
He didn’t know when, but the next thing he knows, Jun’s hugging him, sobbing and choking.
“Oh-chan. don’t you remember? Two weeks ago, Nino-“
Pauses.
“-he’s dead,”
It feels like his whole world has stop hearing those words. he refuse to believe it, but part of him knows it’s real. What Jun has thought him is true, not a single word is a lie.
“you’re lying,” is what he says, even thought he knows Jun’s not.
“Riida..”
“YOU’RE LYING!!! YOU’RE LYING! HE’S NOT DEAD! HE PROMISED ME TO SPENT OUR TIME TOGETHER TODAY! IT’S OUR ANNIVERSARY. I WANT HIM SHO-KUN! ASK HIM TO COME OUT NOW!” he yelled, struggling to break free from jun’s hug. He succeed, just before being taken into Sho’s next, to calm him down.
He could feel a tear drops on his shoulders. Sho hugs was tight, but it’s warm and calming him. slowly, he stops struggling, and start to cry too. Last two weeks happening appear to him as a flashback.
“am on my way back~~,” Nino’s cheerful voice could be heard at the end of the line. Imagining Nino saying those word, he chuckles.
“what’s so funny?”
“Nothing. But I’m sure you looks so cute saying that line,”
“Shut up!” Nino replied, giggling when he heard his lover did the same.
“I cook you hamburger,”
“I know Oh-chan. because you can only cook either cha-han or hamburger,”
“of course. Because it’s my and your favourite food,”
Nino laughs.
“you know I’m so in love with you right, Oh-chan?”
“I know. I love you too,”
“I love –“
It’s so clear in his ears when he heard a loud screeching before a loud bang followed up. He heard it so clear when people wailing for help. But he didn’t hear Nino’s. he never hung up the call. He hold it, hoping to hear Nino voice. Hoping for him to stay alive.
But hope fails him.
“it’s unfair-“
“I know, ohno-san,”
“he promised me. why did he-,”he can’t say the next word. Nino didn’t broken the promise. He was heading back, just, he never arrives.
Sho keeps trying to calm the older member, he never let go of the hug.
“I want my Nino, Sho-kun. what should I do?”
Here, Sho lost his words. what is the right word to say? Will it be too cruel if he said the matter of fact, that Nino won’t return again?
That he, they need to face their day, with the memories they had about the man?
Why is it the fate has become so cruel to us?
“you need to sleep, Riida…”
“I want…”
“I know,” jun says, bitting his lips. “but we can’t do anything. Please Riida. It’s painful to see you this way, please…”
He refuse to hear anymore words. he feels so tired. Maybe Jun’s right. Maybe he needs to sleep and wake up to find out it’s just a nightmare.
Though he knows, it is not.

why am i so loving to torture Ohno and kill Nino? someone take away this dark heart of mine.maybe should make another way round.. oh please don't kill me. i'm still a sick person with unstabilize emotions
i personally think that this fic is plain. thanks to my current brain status *outdated because of prolonged fever* and my lack of artistic value nowadays.
