Part One
Nino know he hasn’t died. The smell of the medicine filled his nostril. He doesn’t need to open his eyes to know where about he is. Somehow, the fact of him being alive annoyed him. I should kill him before kill myself. What a nuisance, he thought inside his head.
He’s alive. He’s going to see Ohno again. Will it be that bad if he doesn’t want to open his eyes?
“Nino,” Aiba’s voice almost makes him jump of shock. Luckily, he’s not. Or else, only god knows how chaos the man will make. And that was the last thing he ever wanted now.
And then he heard the man sighed.
“I thought we’re best friend,”
Nino tried so hard to not frowning when he heard Aiba’s words. Before he could think further, Aiba continues.
“Best friend doesn’t being secretive. But you did. And I don’t know if I should forgive you now,”
Aiba paused, sighing.
“You’re hurt, but you keep it by yourself. See where it leads to? I don’t care about how much hurt you gave to leader, but you. You keep hurting yourself. Even trying to kill yourself. What have you’ve been thinking? you should have told us. I thought it was me who always keep everything by myself. Have I been influencing you?” he could feel the man was pouting as he finished his words.
Nino could hear the sound of the chair being pulled before a creaking sound was heard and Nino could imaging the man was taking his seat next to him. His image was confirmed when he felt his hand was held by the man, before it was bring close to Aiba’s face.
“so cold…” Nino rolled his eyes in his own sense. “I miss your warmth hand slapping my head when I said silly things,”
“you’re being over sensitive Aiba-chan,” Nino said in his mind when he heard the man sniffles along with his words.
“you seriously need to wake up, Nino. Because I fucking cancelled my baseball game this morning when I heard about this. You’re silly little brat!” Aiba continue punching him lightly on his arms. But again, he heard sniffles from the man. Nino wonder why was it so painful for him the moment he heard that.
“we need you, Nino. Wake up please. Don’t worry about Oh-chan ne. Matsujun has punched him hard for you. I don’t think it is enough though. After what he has done to you. well, I was thinking of hiring someone to knock him off, but Sho-chan told me no. so I quit,” he said, laughing at his own words.
He could feel Aiba’s hand on him, gripping his hand. He could feel the man was crying as well, because nothing was said for a few minutes and when Aiba started to speak again, his voice shaking so obvious.
“I’ll be waiting for you, Nino. Wake up fast ne. you’ve been cruel to me after all of this time. Just, don’t be cruel by not waking up. I beg you. please…” and the man breaking, rushing out room.
The heavy feeling in his chest appeared again. Under his closed eyes played the miserable face of Aiba Masaki when he cried makes everything he felt out of place. When he thought that his life was meaningless with a man name Ohno Satoshi, he hurt his best friend who he shared almost half of his life with by making such a selfish decision. All of sudden, he felt so sad, that he wanted to run after the man, apologize to him for what he have done.
But the next moment when he heard Ohno’s voice, he freezed.
That was the last voice he wanted to hear at the moment. But at the same time, he couldn’t help wondering everything about the man. if he’s fine, after everything that has happened. Somehow, that makes him felt mad at himself. Why is it so hard for him to forget the man when he’s the reason to everything that happened?
He almost pulled his hand away when Ohno touched him, gripping it as if his life was depending on it, letting it go will make him die. But knowing that if he did that, he just have to wake up, he hold back. At the same time, Ohno start talking.
“Kazu… I’m sorry,” Ohno said, his voice shaking. Nino tried so hard from laughing over the words. No matter how much Ohno was sincere with his words, Nino found it fake to his ears. Sorry? After breaking up with him with one text message? After leaving without an explanation? After breaking his heart to an extent of unable to be heal again. And then he said sorry? How ridiculous.
He could hear the man sitting next to him sobbing. But instead of feeling the same when he heard Aiba doing it, he felt annoyed. The man was faking it was what he thought and Nino just feel like going far away from him.
“I’m sorry for what I’ve done, kazu. Just please wake up. Everyone was-“ Ohno left the words hanging there.
“please, give me another chance. I know you’ve been hurt. Please let me heal you. Please give us another chance,” and Nino had it enough.
Another chance? For what purpose? For what reason? Isn’t the man has a perfect life with Jun now? Aren’t they couple? He get what he wanted now, and he wanted to ended everything just after what had happened? Again, Nino think that Ohno was being ridiculous, and his ‘unconscious state’ need to end.
He opened his eyes with Ohno’s face an inch away from him. Nino doesn’t think twice when he pushed the man away hard, making the man to stumble backwards. He did notice the bruise at the corner of the man’s lips, so what Aiba has told him before was right. That Jun has punched the man. At the time he actually felt thankful to Jun for doing that, but at the very same time too he thinks that he doesn’t needed to do that.
And the bruise on the man’s face doesn’t even make him feel sorry for Ohno. Not at all. Instead, he throw the older man one annoying glare, making a ‘don’t you dare come closer’ face towards the man. But seems like Ohno couldn’t get it.
“Kazu, you’re awake,” he stated a matter of fact excitedly. Making a few step towards the man, he hold Nino’s hand, kiss it again and again gratefully. But instantly, Nino pushed away before he turned to his side, his back facing Ohno’s.
“yes, Ohno. I’m awake. Why? are you frustrated? I should have died so that you could live happily with Jun afterwards? Isn’t that what you’ve been hoping?”
“Kazu…” he could hear frustrated in the man’s voice but before Ohno could proceed with anymore words, Nino cut him short.
“Stop faking it! Stop pretending that you’re happy with my existence when you’re not! Stop faking your sadness watching how much broken I am now. stop faking everything that you never mean of!!”
“Kazu, let me-“
“get out,” he said it weak. He still is, and the fact that Ohno was still in the room make him weak even more. All of sudden the memories played. Every single things; from the message, to the night he kidnapped Ohno, force him into sex, everything that it makes him feel dizzy. He just want the man to leave, but Ohno still trying to have a conversation. Or to be exact to apologize. But he didn’t need that now. He didn’t need it at all.
“Kazu.. I just…”
“I said get out!”
He yelled. And all of sudden, everything went black for him. He fainted and that was the last time Ohno ever manage to talk to him since that day.

“I told you, this isn’t the right time,” Jun tried to control his anger hearing everything from Ohno. He watched through the window as the doctor examine his band mate in the room.
To be exact, he was frustrated. He knew Nino since their Junior day. He knew almost everything about the man, about how Nino always feel lonely, insecure when his father left their house when he still a child. Or how the man suffered injuries that make him couldn’t stand or hold the mic with his left hand for a long period. The man might look strong outside, but in fact, inside he’s fragile. He hid it with his brat selfish attitude, which is never his true self. All are just for the sake of hiding his weakness.
Jun care about Nino about almost everything. That’s the reason why he felt frustrated when he first heard the whole truth from Ohno, about how the two ohmiya sk was real, and Ohno broke up with Nino just because he wanted to be with him. he never know about it, despite how much he care about Nino. He felt like he was betraying the man.
Somehow, having all the thoughts inside him hurt him too. He sighed, turning back his sight to Ohno.
“I’m sorry,” Ohno said, lowering his head. He wasn’t sure how many time has he repeated the same phrase, but he knew he should. No matter how much he wanted to be selfish, he know he has caused too many damage after all the selfish act he done.
“ne, Jun,” Ohno begins again after a while of silent. He didn’t lift up his face but from the corner of his eyes, he could see the man was looking at him. “I’m sorry, but can we…”
“end up our relation?” Jun finished his stuck question. Slowly ohno nodded before raise up his head, facing the younger one.
“I’m sorry. I know I’m being selfish again. but…”
“don’t you dare saying you love Nino,” Jun cut him, stare at him sharply.
Again, Ohno lowered his head, refuse to face Jun again as he replied to the man.
“but I do love him,”
“isn’t that was just a sense of guilt, ohno-san? You feel guilty. What you feel now isn’t love, but you just feel guilty. That won’t make any different between the two of you,
Ohno fell silent. Indeed, what Jun was saying is true. Half true. Maybe he feel guilty. But the guilt is what making him to realized how much suffer he has caused Nino. Maybe he doesn’t love Nino now, but he will learn to love the man again, because Nino deserved it.
He heard jun sigh.
“Listen, Ohno-kun. Between the two of us, is a mistake. I’ve fall in love with you before and that’s because I never know there’s something going on between the two of you before. now that I know it, I can’t ever love you anything more than a friend. It’s fine this relation came to end,”
Jun paused, taking a deep breath before continuing again.
“You can say you want to love Nino again. but let me remind you what Sho-san has said just now. we’ll be there for him if you ever try to hurt him again. and if you did, we’re not afraid to kill you and make it looks like an accident. Bear this in mind, Ohno-kun because I’m in the same boat as them. Hurt Nino, say goodbye to your life,” Jun threat the older man. he gritted his teeth as he was saying that, trying to controlled his emotion and his voice from getting louder.
Before Ohno could reply him, the doctor came out from Nino’s room.
“His blood pressure dropped. I’m sorry to say this, but please don’t make him stress. If it is a person who make him to have one, please avoid that person from meeting him. let him to rest for a few day,” the doctor explained, before he took his leave from there. Ohno bit his lips.
Jun threw the older man a glare.
“You heard him, Ohno-kun,” Jun said. “let’s leave. Even me myself wasn’t sure if I won’t caused it,”
