Summary: Ohno was doing a quality check for someone ideal for him, but then everything lead to one certain person name Ninomiya Kazunari.
Disclaimer: I don’t own them. Plot, well because it appear in the middle of the night, the crappy plot is mine.

“Do you want to do it?
“Marriage?” half a breath, Ohno continued. “I want to,”
The answer, even though it earned laughter from the other member, Ohno on the other hand was being serious about it.
He was considering the idea of getting married to someone, but he didn’t know to who he should.
And today, here he was in the greenroom, the magazine printed the interview he done last two weeks in his hands. His eyes roaming all over the page, trying to figure out if he messed up the job he had last time. None. He sighed a relieved.
But then, his eyes caught at one question. He had received the question before. A lot that he had lost counted the times he received the question. One thing he would never forget was his answer. Sometimes, it was random from one member to another. But if he has to give a statistic, 85% of his answer gonna be this one name. Ninomiya Kazunari.
Heck. For the first few times, he answered that for the sake of fan service. A lot, if not majority of the fans love Ohmiya hence Nino will always be his answer whenever he came across this ‘who among the member would you like to marry’ kind of question.
But then today, reading his answer again, something snapped inside him.
He needed someone who would never interfere with what he was doing. He loved fishing. He loved drawing. Those two activities required a long time to be alone, just for him and him only. No one or nothing should be in his way whenever he wanted to do it. When he said he wanted to go fishing, that person would let him go and shouldn’t be too clingy by demanding to tag along. After all, having the one you love in a boat, alone in the middle of the sea sounded troublesome, won’t it? It will be distracting as f**k.
So, someone who was afraid of sea will be nice.
But wait.
Maybe someone with seasickness will be better. Somehow the idea of being alone on a boat in the middle of the open sea sounded romantic. He can shower his love to his seasick partner once in a while, or maybe they can do random things on the boat without anyone to interrupt them? Random things like dancing to a slow romantic music. Or maybe a candle light dinner with the fish he caught as the main dishes. And there’ll be a lot of kissing before-
He chuckled by himself having the thought inside his head. He stopped when he saw how Nino was throwing him a glance as he did so before he hid his face under the magazine, pretended to read it.
Once again, his mind was drove to another character that he wanted in his partner. Someone who prefer to have his own personal space and didn’t mind giving some personal space for him too. It’s important. Afterall, being clingy next to each other all the time gonna be something annoying after a period of time. Well, someone like Nino who would love to be absorbed into his game session would be nice. By the same time, he would spend his time drawing or do his clay works without they disturbing one another. he promised he won’t disturbed his partner during this period of time.
And he needed someone who can give him extra attention when he needed to. Like Nino who will always notice every single gesture he made. Without words, Nino would come to him, patted him or massage his shoulder whenever he made a hint that he was tired. Or how Nino would love to snuggle close when both of them has switch off their personal space moment. They would lean by each other, enjoying each other presence without a word left their mouth.
That sounded peaceful. Ohno loved the idea way too much.
He pulled down the magazine that was covering his sight, glanced at Nino who was playing with his game. Another peaceful sight he had now.
Staring at the man, other thoughts came into his mind. He would definitely love to have someone who can compliment him whenever he done something. Or someone who can cheer him up whenever he was feeling down.
Nino was so good doing all that. Hell, they’ve been friend for years. And within those years too, Nino was always there for him. He remembered how Nino was complimenting him when he finished ‘Maou’, telling him how the other member was talking positively about the drama. Or when Nino was the first one to call him in the middle of the night, telling him that everything will be fine during that one time tabloid had published his scandal. Or when Nino was complimenting everyone for their works, despite how snarky and brat the guy could be in front of the national television.
And Ohno always have this image of Nino being so organize, if not as organize as Sho was, Nino can be someone who can do the chores without the need of anyone else. And he also has this image of Nino being someone good ensuring everything was put in a right place. A value added quality that every men looked in a women to be bind by a vow. And not to mention, someone who can cook something decent. Someone like…

That one name escaped his mouth in a small voice. He realized that, at the same time hoping that Nino would never heard it. His face was blooming red as the tomato, still hiding behind the magazine that he was clenching so hard- that was one thing he didn’t realized, until Nino fake a cough, before he started to speak.
“I know you’ve done a good job with the interview, Oh-chan, but-“ Ohno slowly put down the magazine. “Damaging the magazine when others haven’t read it yet, it’s bad. They didn’t provided the magazine for you alone, if you didn’t realized it yet,”
Ohno’s full attention was on Nino now, watching the man who was talking to him, not even bother to shift his attention from the DS he had in his hand. Or so Ohno had thought.
“Well, Ohno-san, regarding your answer in that interview-“ Ohno swore his heart gonna burst waiting for Nino’s next words. “-well, if you wanna marry me, you could have just ask,”
Surprise. Wait what?
Ohno’s eyes widen in surprise. Well, that was unexpected. And it made him speechless, forbid him from saying anything in response.
“Well, if you ask, I will answer it with a 'yes'. We’ve been together for so long that I don’t really mind it if I have to take care everything about you. But at the same time, I would expected that you would take care of me too,”
Nino paused. Ohno could see how the man was blushing even though their eyes never met each other. Nino inhale once, continued again.
“I was waiting you know, but you never ask. Even now, when I was giving you a chance to do so. Instead, you sit there with your mouth hangs open, looking damn ridiculously stupid and that makes me think that I wouldn't stand a chance so-“
“i'm gonna marry you," Ohno cut him. It took them a moment of silent before Nino chuckled.
"Wow that sounds like an order,"
"It is," paused. “I’m gonna marry you even if you don’t like the idea at all,”
“Ohno-san-“
“I’ve been searching for the perfect one for me. And every qualities I’ve been searching in my life- no- soul mate, it leads to you. I decided. I’m going to marry you. I’m going to take care of you for the rest of my life. I am going to marry you and if you don’t, it’s going to kill me. So marry me, Kazunari. Or I’m going to die,”
Ohno was now on Nino’s lap. The DS was left forgotten next to him, for god only know how much trouble Ohno was for distracting Nino with his game. Ah, he had break over the rule of not disturbing one another while they’re having a private time.
But ignoring the fact, he leaned in, noticing the shock on Nino’s face as their lips almost touch each other. Hard, Nino pushed him away, making him to land on his butt on the hard floor.
“You’re rejecting me?” Ohno asked, desperate.
“You’re hopeless!” Nino yelled, his face was blushing red.
“But I’m going to marry you!”
“Then get me a ring!”
Paused.
A brief moment of silent with them staring at each other.
“Aren’t you afraid of marrying me, Oh-chan?”
Ohno shook his head.
“I just realized that I’m hopeless without you,” Ohno replied.
Somehow Nino chuckled, giggled when Ohno leaned in, this time managed to steal a kiss on his lips.
Ohno could feel Nino’s breathe on his face, when suddenly Nino spoke again.
“On a second thought, Ohno-san, I need time to think about this whole marriage things,” Nino said, smirking as he said so. “But still, get us a pair of ring, Oh-chan. You don’t want to waste your time,”
Ohno blinked, confused. Is that a yes? Is that a no?
He tried to approach he man again for an answer. But when Nino quickly avoided him, escaping from giving him a final decision, Ohno knew, he needed to wait longer.
And when Nino giggled as he made his way out of their greenroom, face still blushing red, Ohno knew maybe it won’t take that long.
“Nino~~” he chased after the man.
